VenueOra

Integrations and API

Charge a locker and check an age from your own code

VenueOra's developer surface is LockerPay, the payments API inside LockVault, our smart-locker service, and the API and webhooks of VenueGo, a verification platform designed for venues. The platform itself integrates with wallets, payments, terminals, email, SMS, push, Telegram, SwingHub and NFC lockers.

Step by step

How it works

  1. 1

    Get sandbox keys at once

Sign up and automated KYC and KYB onboarding issues sandbox keys straight away. Build against the REST API with the SDK for your language while the checks on your business run.

  2. 2

    Take a hire payment

Place an authorisation hold when the locker opens, capture on close-out, add a top-up for a late return and issue a partial refund if needed. Endpoints are idempotent, so a retry never double-charges.

  3. 3

    Listen for signed webhooks

Payment events arrive as signed webhooks, so your locker controller or kiosk can open a door, release a hire or flag a dispute without polling. Verify the signature and act.

  4. 4

    Go live within 24 hours

A live merchant is typically ready within 24 hours. Settlement is daily with itemised reports, in multiple currencies to local accounts, with automated splits to sub-merchants where you share revenue.

What you get

Locker payments API

A REST API with idempotent endpoints and signed webhooks, built for short-duration hire: authorisation holds, capture on close-out, top-ups for late returns, partial refunds and disputes.

SDKs in seven languages

SDKs for JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, .NET, PHP and Ruby, so a kiosk vendor or locker manufacturer integrates in the language its firmware and back office already use.

Mobile SDK with wallets

The iOS and Android checkout SDK handles 3-D Secure 2, Apple Pay, Google Pay and saved cards, so a venue app or pre-booking flow takes a locker payment without touching card data.

Terminals for unattended payments

Certified Android and SoftPOS card terminals embed in kiosk hardware or stand alone, taking tap, chip and PIN, swipe, NFC and QR codes. Kiosk integration runs on Linux, Android and Windows with an offline-tolerant queue.

Age verification API

VenueGo exposes an API and webhooks: start a check for a guest at sign-up or purchase, then receive approved, declined or needs review. Or use the white-label hosted flow under the venue's brand with no integration.

Platform integrations

Apple and Google Wallet, Apple Pay and Google Pay on web and kiosk, card payments and terminals, Resend email, SMS, Firebase push, Telegram, SwingHub and NFC lockers are built in. For a ticketing API, ask us about ticketing integrations.

What exists today

Two APIs you can call now, and one you ask us about

LockerPay has the fullest developer surface and its overview lives on the LockerPay site. VenueGo has an API and webhooks alongside its hosted flow. VenueOra does not publish a ticketing API or public developer documentation, so for ticketing links beyond the integrations the platform ships, ask us about ticketing integrations. VenueGo reads the document in the camera. It does not look up DVLA, the passport office, or any other government database, and it does not read a passport chip. A clear result is not proof a document is genuine. It does not replace a premises licence, a challenge at the bar, or legal advice.

LockerPay: REST, SDKs, terminals

The most complete surface: REST API, signed webhooks, idempotent endpoints, seven SDKs, a mobile checkout SDK, certified terminals and kiosk integration on Linux, Android and Windows. The developer overview is on the LockerPay site.

VenueGo: API and webhooks

Start a check, receive the result. The hosted white-label flow covers venues that want no integration at all; the API and webhooks cover those that want approved, declined or needs review against their own guest record.

VenueOra: integrations that ship

Apple and Google Wallet, Apple Pay and Google Pay, card payments and payment terminals, Resend for transactional mail and campaigns, SMS for orders and lifecycle messages, Firebase push, Telegram groups, SwingHub and NFC lockers.

Ticketing: ask us

VenueOra does not publish a ticketing API or public developer documentation. LockVault lockers run on VenueOra's locker management and tie to tickets and members; for anything else, ask us about ticketing integrations and we will tell you what is possible.

Outcomes

What changes for your venue

01

Card data never in your code

Card details go to the PCI DSS Level 1 acquiring partner, never to your hardware or code. Tokenisation, 3-D Secure 2 and fraud scoring come as standard rather than as extra work.

02

A hire that charges correctly

Holds, capture on close-out, top-ups and partial refunds match how a locker is actually used, so a guest who returns late is charged the right amount and nobody is double-charged on a retry.

03

Pricing built for lockers

LockerPay charges competitive blended rates on locker volume, typically below generic gateway pricing on a like-for-like basis. Rates are not published here; we quote per venue once we know your volumes.

FAQ

Questions venues ask

Is there a locker payments API I can integrate into my own kiosk or locker hardware?

Yes. LockerPay is a REST API with signed webhooks and idempotent endpoints, with SDKs for JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, .NET, PHP and Ruby. It is built for short-duration hire: authorisation holds, capture on close-out, top-ups for late returns, partial refunds and disputes. Certified Android and SoftPOS terminals embed in your kiosk or stand alone, and kiosk integration runs on Linux, Android and Windows.

How quickly can I get sandbox keys and go live?

Sandbox keys are issued at once when you start automated KYC and KYB onboarding, and a live merchant is typically ready within 24 hours. You build and test against the sandbox while onboarding runs, then switch keys. Settlement is daily with itemised reports and automated splits to sub-merchants, in multiple currencies to local accounts.

Can guests pay for a locker with Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes, through the iOS and Android checkout SDK, which also handles 3-D Secure 2 and saved cards. At the kiosk, the certified Android and SoftPOS terminals take tap, chip and PIN, swipe, NFC and QR, so a guest can pay with a phone wallet by tapping. Card data goes to the PCI DSS Level 1 acquiring partner and never to your hardware or code.

Does VenueGo have an API, or only the hosted flow?

Both. The white-label hosted flow runs under your brand with no integration, and the API and webhooks let an integrator start a check when a guest signs up or buys and receive approved, declined or needs review against its own record. Either way the check is the same: face, then document, then a photo holding it; UK, Irish and US passports and driving licences; a session lasts 24 hours with three attempts; images deleted after 30 days unless a review is open.

What does VenueOra itself integrate with?

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet for ticket and pass delivery; Apple Pay and Google Pay on web and kiosk checkout; card payments for online checkout and payouts; payment terminals for card-present sales at the door; Resend for transactional email and campaigns; SMS for order and lifecycle messages; Firebase for push notifications; Telegram for group management and event posts; SwingHub for social profiles, posts and verifications; and NFC lockers for assignment and realtime control. For a link to another ticketing platform, ask us about ticketing integrations.

What does LockerPay cost to use?

LockerPay charges competitive blended rates on locker volume, typically below generic gateway pricing on a like-for-like basis. We do not publish the rates on this site; we quote per venue once we know your expected hire volumes and currencies. Settlement is daily with itemised reports, and multi-currency acquiring settles to local accounts.
